PingInfoView is a lightweight, standalone utility created by ⁠NirSoft that allows you to ping and monitor multiple hostnames and IP addresses simultaneously from a single dashboard. Because it does not require installation, you can run the executable file directly to begin monitoring. How to Monitor Multiple IPs

Launch the tool: Open PingInfoView.exe. The Ping Options window will open automatically on the first startup. If it is already open, press F6 to bring up this window.

Input your IP addresses: Type or paste your list of IP addresses or hostnames into the main text area. Enter one address per line.

Configure settings: Adjust the setup variables inside the options window before starting:

Ping Timeout: Set how many milliseconds to wait for a response.

Ping Interval: Specify how many seconds the tool should wait before automatically pinging the entire list again.

Instead of manually typing an address list every time, you can streamline the process using built-in shortcuts:

IP-Host Description Format: You can label your devices directly inside the text area using the format IP_Address Description. For example:

Adding a # at the start of a line instructs the application to ignore that entry.

File Import: Drag and drop a text file filled with IP addresses directly into the main window, or select Load Addresses From File from the file menu. Key Metrics Tracked

Once monitoring begins, the main dashboard table updates dynamically with critical metrics for every target: Column Name Description IP Address / Host Name The specific network destination being tested. Ping Status Visual indicator showing a successful reply or failure. Succeeded / Failed Total count of successful replies versus dropped packets. % Success Percentage rate of successful responses. Consecutive Failures

Number of failed pings in a row, helpful for detecting sudden outages. Average Ping Time Mean round-trip latency measured in milliseconds. Important Network Optimizations

Lower Concurrent Pings: Pinging hundreds of hosts at the exact same moment can overload your local network adapter, resulting in false timeout errors. If you experience inaccurate failures, press F9 to open Advanced Options and decrease the maximum number of concurrent pings.

Switch Protocol: By default, the software utilizes standard ICMP pings. If a remote firewall blocks ICMP traffic, toggle the settings to TCP pings to test specific open ports instead.

Data Exporting: You can export your live monitoring tables at any point into .txt, .html, or .csv files by using the file saving options or command-line arguments.
